I am an avid traveler throughout Belize, from north to the south from mountains to sea. This ocean side guesthouse is the best and most economically friendly along the Belizean shoreline, I have encountered so far. The rooms are very nicely equipped, and the staff is very accommodating. Happy to stay here again.

Excellent stay at White Horse Guest House!
The location couldn't be better, right on the beach - with the best sunrise views! The owners clearly take pride in the place, the beach is perfectly groomed, there are nice beach chairs and beach towels to use before and after a swim. It sits right in the heart of the village with grocery stores and restaurants/beach bars in close walking distance. The cabana was immaculate, and they have thought of everything you might need in the lovely kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at the White Horse was amazing. It's conveniently located in the center of Hopkins Village, right on the beach, and next door to a grocery store, restaurants that are only a few minutes walk away. The rooms are well kept and beautiful. Carl and Laurene are very generous hosts who treated us like friends, and they were wonderful to work with. The manager Angel is a wonderful soul, puts a lot of pride and care into his work & helped us set up tours through the local guides, often at a cheaper price than the local tour companies! We were very pleased with our experience and would love to visit them again!
Holidays tend to be loud and festive lasting all night long, so if traveling here for Easter, Christmas, Hopkins Days, St Vince Nov 18,19,20 New Years and numerous Holidays... plan on all night loud festive music and partying.
Please do not befriend local dogs as Laurene is severely allergic.
